We’ve noticed a number of children who
need their parents help practicing how to hold their scissors correctly. Also, we cut from the bottom of the paper to
the top….not top downJ
Great cutting practice is cutting out coupons…we have to stay on the
lines…and it helps Mom when she goes grocery shopping!
Please check to see if your child can
identify:
·
Colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple,
brown, black, white, gray and pink. Of
all the colors, gray is the most
difficult to remember!
·
Shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, diamond,
hexagon, and oval
·
Letter name and sound: Cc, Oo, Gg, Aa, Dd, and Ss.
·
Counting: Count out loud from 1 – 25
