Please review the District dress code
Parents please remember the cute sundresses in stores may not follow the district dress code...unless a sweater is worn over the dress....and that can get hot on the playground.
Speaking of the playground....a note of caution: We like to run and play at recess and shoes with heels can lead to disaster... blood, tears, Band-Aids, and lots of crying.
When your child has PE they need to wear tennis shoes (rubber soled shoes)...flip flops, sandals, boots, and shoes with heels are not allowed for safety reasons.

Why Do Some Children Do More Poorly on Writing Tests at School Than They Do At Home? | Heidi Songs
Hi Parents -
As we move into more writing, we thought this was an interesting blog to get all of us thinking about the varying levels of writing that we will see in our Kindergarteners.

Math Apps to build Number Sense
I have found two fantastic apps to promote number sense. They would definitely be great for you and your student to use together in a fun an educational way that would promote number sense. One is called "Friends of ten" . . . cost is 99 cents. The other is by the same company. It is called "Subitizing" . . . cost is $1.99.
